The Copper House Gallery launched Quietude, a photographic exhibition by Irish photographer and artist Maggy Morrissey, on Thursday 19th March 2015. Inspired by the seascapes of Ireland and her journeys around Europe, Quietude is Maggy Morrissey's first solo show.
Opening the exhibition photographer Gerry Andrews spoke about the significance of photography as an art form, commending Maggy on the courage of her convictions as a person and also as an artist. It is, he noted, her process of selection that distinguishes her work as mininalist, tranquil and delicate.

An amazing launch was held at The Copper House Gallery, for Out of Thin Air, a photographic exhibition and photobook by Daragh Muldowney, on Wednesday 1st October 2014. Irish photographer Daragh Muldowney set sail to Greenland on board the Killary Flyer in June 2013, to explore the world’s largest island. An event we look forward to every year is PhotoIreland Festival, a programme dedicated to promoting critical thinking around photography and a deeper engagement with the visual arts. Now in its fifth year, PhotoIreland celebrates a festival every July, promoting by way of a proposed theme, works from national and international artists. The theme for this year's festival being: Truths, Facts, Fictions, Lies.

The Copper House Gallery launched Slackwater, a photographic exhibition by 2013 Propeller Award winner Maciej Pestka, on Thursday evening 8th May 2014. The Propeller Award is an annual award to support and mentor graduate students, providing an exhibition, portfolios and prints for 10 graduates each year. The 2013 Propeller Award is the final disbursement of the €150,000 Fire Arts Awards, launched at The Copper House Gallery in September 2011 by Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Jimmy Deenihan T.D..

No Fixed Abode presents All You Need is Love, a print exhibition in support of Marriage Equality12 May 2014 By Orla Martin
We were very proud to host All You Need is Love, a print exhibition in support of Marriage Equality, presented by No Fixed Abode, and supported by TXFM, on Thursday evening 1st May 2014. The exhibition showcased work by over 20 of Ireland’s established and emerging artists, with several pieces from international contributors. Limited edition prints on Hahnemühle fine art paper inspired by the theme All You Need Is Love were on sale for €30, with all profits going to Marriage Equality.

The Copper House Gallery launched INDIA 50 / -- a photographic exhibition by Mexican visual artist Alejandro Gómez de Tuddo, on Wednesday evening 9th April 2014. Curated by Jean-Philippe Imbert, this exhibition was sponsored by Dublin City University, Ireland, as well as CONACULTA, Mexico, and the Mexican Embassy in Ireland.

The Copper House Gallery launched DIY, a photographic exhibition, by SHOWCASE 2012 winner Richard Gilligan on Thursday evening 13th March 2014. SHOWCASE, Ireland’s Contemporary Photography Award, is a new initiative from The Copper House Gallery and Gallery of Photography Ireland, to support the photographic community by providing a platform to develop and exhibit new work.
