The Copper House Gallery launched Quietude, a photographic exhibition by Irish photographer and artist Maggy Morrissey, on Thursday 19th March 2015. Inspired by the seascapes of Ireland and her journeys around Europe, Quietude is Maggy Morrissey's first solo show.
Opening the exhibition photographer Gerry Andrews spoke about the significance of photography as an art form, commending Maggy on the courage of her convictions as a person and also as an artist. It is, he noted, her process of selection that distinguishes her work as mininalist, tranquil and delicate.
Maggy praised everyone at The Copper House Gallery for their support and thanked her friends, family and followers for sharing the experience of exhibiting her first solo show.
Quietude, a photographic exhibition by Maggy Morrissey, runs at The Copper House Gallery from the 19th March until 27th March 2015. Admission is free and all are welcome.
