An amazing launch was held at The Copper House Gallery, for Out of Thin Air, a photographic exhibition and photobook by Daragh Muldowney, on Wednesday 1st October 2014. Irish photographer Daragh Muldowney set sail to Greenland on board the Killary Flyer in June 2013, to explore the world’s largest island. Out of Thin Air documents this expedition, recording the beauty of these arctic ice sculptures. This exhibition has been kindly sponsored by Canon.
Speaking at the launch, The Copper House Gallery curator Leszek Wolnik praised Daragh Muldowney's vision and great work ethic, noting that he was a pleasure to work with. Opening the exhibition, journalist and broadcaster Charlie Bird commended Daragh's incredible work.

He then thanked the main sponsor Canon, Killary Adventure Company, SanDisk, Read That Image, Fund It & Andrew Hetherington Chief Executive Business to Arts who was in attendance, his friends, family and especially is Mum & Dad, pictured (Image © Peter Gordon).
