In Transit was made in direct response to the frantic pace of change that was in full force in Ireland in the 2000's. Elements of urban development, photographs and 'found objects' literally found on the street, like the city shedding a skin, juxtapose to form a condensed sliver of that period in time. New buildings were mushrooming up as the city bustled with traffic and noise. The title piece comes fro the ubiquitous delivery van. Details include paraphernalia from advertising and packaging, isolating words to play with meaning; for example 'Faster Cheaper Easier' from a Luas ticket stub, giving advice on how to navigate the urban jungle.
