Phil McDarby is a Freelance Digital Artist, Photographer & Composer.
He has been drawing and painting fantasy and sci-fi characters and environments for most of his life and this exhibition showcases his imagining of a magical woodland populated by benevolent dragons and mythical spirits.
At the heart of his work is a desire to capture a sense of magic and wonder - that feeling of child-like excitement and discovery that we struggle to retain as adults.
Some of the images have been reproduced on an epic scale allowing a totally immersive investigation of the minutiae of Phil's forests and woods.
